about bio chris

Chris Tull, Owner

Chris, the founder and lead craftsman of Tullson’s Safe & Vault Restoration LLC, has always been driven by a deep passion for working with his hands and bringing timeless pieces back to life.

His journey began as a young man, when he spent countless hours alongside his older neighbor, Paul, building custom cabinets, intricate clocks, and detailed models—experiences that instilled in him a lifelong appreciation for precision, patience, and quality workmanship.

As a young adult, Chris honed his mechanical skills further while working side-by-side with his father in an automotive body shop, mastering the art of restoration, fabrication, and meticulous attention to detail under demanding real-world conditions.

For more than 15 years, Chris has dedicated his career to the safe and vault industry, specializing in antique safe restoration, vintage vault restoration, time lock repair, mechanical safe calibration, and high-end custom security solutions. What began as a natural extension of his hands-on background has evolved into a true calling—preserving historic safes and vaults, relocating heavy legacy units, and transforming them into functional works of art that blend heritage craftsmanship with modern security standards.

Today, through Tullson’s, Chris continues to deliver white-glove service to discerning clients who value legacy, precision, and unparalleled quality. Every project reflects his commitment to excellence, ensuring that each restored piece not only secures valuables but also stands as a testament to enduring American craftsmanship.

“A Legacy That Lasts Generations” — that’s more than a motto; it’s the standard Chris upholds in every safe and vault he touches.
